The Nacra 15 is a fast, fun and dynamic youth catamaran, built for speed, stability, and manoeuvrability. It is the perfect boat for junior or youth sailors wanting to take their sailing skills to the next level and experience the thrill of high-speed, exciting multihull sailing.
Although a relatively small fleet in the UK, the UK Nacra 15 Class is a growing youth sailing class. We have had many sailors successfully transition from other junior sailing classes (Topper & Feva) and youth sailing classes (29er & 420), all bringing valuable skills on which to build their catamaran sailing skills. Our sailors have represented us at Nacra 15 events across the UK as well as Europe, with great success.
The Nacra 15 is a smaller version of the original Olympic Nacra 17 multihull, creating a true Olympic sailing pathway.
UK Nacra 15 Demo Day
Saturday 26th April 2025 @ Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy
We are offering taster sessions on the water between 11am and 5pm for sailors to experience the thrill of the Nacra 15. We'll also be providing talks for parents ashore to find out more about the class. All followed by a post-sailing BYO BBQ/social to end the day.

UK Nacra 15 Sailing Chandlery Winter Points Series 2024/25
The Nacra 15 class is excited to launch the UK Nacra 15 Winter Points Series for 2024/25, sponsored by Sailing Chandlery. The series is set to provide a variety of racing opportunities for our youth sailors, enabling them to compete through the winter months.

MDL Hamble Point Marina hosted the Nacra 15 Class for several weekends in 2024, and we'll be back in 2025 for our Spring Championships in March.
